From the Sheboygan Press, Jan. 23, 1950:
Mrs. J.W. Schreurs, 93, oldest Cedar Grove resident, passes away early this morning. Death was attributed to pneumonia.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Jetink, Mrs. Alvin (Della) Dana, and Mrs. Willis (Sadie) DeBruine, all of Cedar Grove; Mrs. Ben (Eliza) Hesselink of Woodville, and Mrs. Will (Hattie) Metink of Hammond, WI; three sons, Benjamin of Woodville, William of Cedar Grove and Arthur of Sheboygan; 30 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and six greatgreat grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral arrangements are pending.
