Hingham- Mrs. William Becker, 44, residing four miles west of the village, died at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon. She had been ill for a long period and her death is ascribed to cancer.
Mrs. Becker was born Dec. 3, 1880, in the Town of Holland. Her maiden name Eliza Mavis and she was the daughter of an old resident of that town. She had resided in the town of Lima for the past nine years.
Her immediate survivors are her husband and nine children. Arrangements for the funeral had been made for Wednesday, but the condition of the roads in the neighborhood may delay it for a considerable time.
