Notes:
Not able to definatively locate Angeline in 1850 census under Banks or Simmons. We know she was born in NY and first 2 children were born there in 1852 and 1853, so was likely there in 1850, single or married? Possible matches:
- 1850 NY, Town of DeWitt, Onondago Co, Angeline Simmons, age 19; living with Andrew also age 19 (no relationship listed - husband or twin brother?), born NY and Rachel, age 63. Andrew and Angeline are not found together again in subsequent census
- 1850 NY census, Watertown, Jefferson County, indexed as Angeline Summons, age 19 born NY; Living with several unrelated individuals, head of household is Elijah Buck, innkeeper.
- In the 1840 NY census, there is a Noah Simmons in Rutland, Jefferson Co NY with several young children, one of them a female between ages of 5 and less than 10, fitting Angeline’s estimated age then. Not found in 1850 in Jefferson Co.
