Obituary:
Campbell Miller, a well known resident of this town, who resides on the George Breese place, just south of town, met with an accident on Saturday last from the effects of which he died on Thursday. He went into the hay loft of his barn and stepping onto a loose board was precipitated through to the lower floor, striking with the back of his neck on a cutter. He was unable to call for help, and when found by the family, some time later, was in an almost unconscious state. Dr. DeLap was summoned and found the injured man completely paralyzed below the waist, and could do nothing for him. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at eleven o’clock, from the Pine River church, conducted by Rev. Henry Goodacre. Twin brother of Clark Miller.
