Edward is listed in California death index 11/7/1940, birth year 1866, birth “elsewhere” (not in US)

In the “History of Santa Clara County”: Among the first contracts were those for the Los Altos Grammar School, the private residence of Paul Shoup, the President of the Southern Pacific Railroad, at Los Altos, the Ed Seifert garage at San Jose, and the bridge across Guadelupe Creek, at west Santa Clara street, in San Jose. (This was referring to William Radtke, carpenter/contractor) pg. 1357
