Born: 5/11/1854; Pennsylvania (Jan 1852 according to 1900 census)
Parents: Miles Sweeney and Mary McGlen

Marriage: 1870 to John J. Hyland

Death: 7/20/1948, Edgerton, WI. Buried St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Edgerton, WI
Kate’s husband John died in 1913; they were visiting friends and had his horse at the public stable; after dinner he went to check the horse as he thought something was wrong with it; as he entered the stable the stableboy he was throwing down baled shingles and shavings which hit John and killed him. He is buried at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Edgerton, WI.
