I started researching my family in 1998, and has been my passion ever since. I hope you can find some information to connect my family to yours. It's always nice to meet new cousins!

Article in the Sheboygan Press April 29, 1927
“Several Denomination Represented; Baptist is Oldest Church in State”
“The First Baptist church of Sheboygan Falls was organized on Feb 11, 1838, at the home of A.G. Dye.” The article continues on about where meetings were held over the years, and that the present building was erected in 1849-50. In 1872 the building was moved due to the railroad tresspassing on the property. “Many of the pioneer settlers of the county were connected with this church, among whom may be mentioned: A.G. Dye, J.H. Denison (Deacon), William Towbridge, Albert Rounserville, Nathan Sargent, David Giddings, and Ebenezer Tupper.”
From brother Harvey’s obituary May 30, 1833, likely written by one of Ebenezer’s sons:
It may truly be said of deceased (Harvey), that he lived an honorable life, and although he had chopped and logged and burned, with a view to laying up a competency, he died leaving nothing but a good name, and his funeral expenses were borne by his surviving brother, Ebenezer Tupper of Lima.
