Born: 1847, New York. The family emmigrated to the US at the end of 1846, Gesiena was likely born just after their arrival as they are believed to have moved directly to Wisconsin.
Parents: Berent Graven and Aleida Snoeyenbos
Siblings: Arent Jan (1841-1922), Hendrik (1843-1846 - listed on ship passenger list in 1846, but not in 1850 census - died at sea?), Gerhardus (died in infancy, not on ship passenger list), Hendrika (1852-1939), Gerritt (1853-1935), Aledia (1856-1950)
Marriage: Dec. 13, 1865 to Christian Voskuil, Sheboygan Co, WI; Christian remarried after her death
Children: Hattie, Lydia and ? Delia
Death: It appears that Gesiena died after the 1870 census but before the 1880 census.
