Marriage: 2/25/1908 to Mary Ramaker, Sheboygan Co, WI
Children: Erwin (1912), Lester (1915), Alvin (1917), Mildred (1921)
Death: 3/18/1957 Sheboygan Co, WI. John died at age 72 of a cerebral hemorrhage (stroke) and also suffered from Parkinsons disease.
From Sheboygan Press, March 19, 1957:
John Navis, 72, died at his farm home one mile east of Adell on Monday afternoon following a long illness.
Born Nov. 30, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Garret Navis, he was married Feb. 25, 1908 to Mary Ramaker.
Survivors are his wife, three sons, Erwin, Lester and Elwin, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Simmelink, three sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Simmelink, Mrs. Dena Ramaker and Mrs. Joe Onk (Josephine). He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, George, two sisters, Mrs. Alydia Dekker and Mrs. Johanna Simmelink and one granddaughter.
