From the Stevens Point Journal, July 7, 1906:
“Thinks He Is An Officer”
Sheriff Hebard went to Sheboygan last Sunday and brought John Webb, a resident of the Town of Buena Vista, to the city. Webb served a term in the county jail on peace proceedings and has also been in the northern asylum. He has been in the jail in Sheboygan several months. Webb has the hallucination he is an officer. He wears a star, carries a pair of “pinchers” and has essayed to make several arrests.
