Siblings: Wealthy Ann (1851-1903), Arthur J. (1858-1928), John (1860-1946)
Marriage: 8/18/1873 Sheboygan, WI to Jewitt Smith (1853-1921) In 1870, Jewitt Smith was listed as a farm labourer, age 17, in Lyndon township near Mitte’s parents.

Gilbert (1875 WI-?), Edward (1876 WI-?), Charles (1878 WI-?), Gladys (1884 WI-?), Edna (1885 WI-?), Myrtle (1887 WI-?), Maude Adeline (1890 NE-1972), Mary (1891 NE-?), Jewitt Jr. (1895 NE - ?)
Death: Unknown, probably between 1895-1900 in Holt Co. Nebraska. There is a Jewitt Smith listed in 1900 Holt Co., Nebraska census, widower. There is no definative proof that this is the same Jewitt Smith, but age and birthplace match. This would indicate that Mitty died before 1900. The last child listed in this census was born in 1895. None of the 3 children listed in the 1880 WI census are listed, but were old enough that they may have been on their own. No record of death could be found in Verdigris County, Nebraska, but were not required before 1907.
