Sarah E. Webb, age 36, domestic servant on Simeon Smith farm (apparently did not live with her in-laws and husband in 1870).
1880 WI, Sheboygan Co, Town of Greenbush census:
Keeping house for John Thackray (widow), who has 7 children at home, ages 2-19.
Sarah, age 47, widowed, born in NY. Both parents were born in Vermont
Misc:
There is a death certificate for a Sarah El Webb, age 56, born in England 1/25/1832, died 2/21/1888 of a gastric ulcer in Sheboygan. Parents unknown. Buried town of Mitchell. No other information given. The date of birth would coincide with that of census age given, but was not born in England. Certificate was registered 11/19/1895. No informant was listed (information listed on death certificate such as date of birth, parents, and place of birth is based solely in information given by informant and can be inaccurate. Only date and cause of death are verifiable). The person providing the information may have meant New England or simply not known where she was born.
