Born: 11/22/1851 Sheboygan Co, Wisconsin
Parents: James Webb Jr. and Sarah Smart
Siblings: Middy Jane {Mattie/Matty} (1854-?), Arthur J. (1858-1928), John (1860-1946)
Marriage: 3/29/1868 to Marcus Tupper, Sheboygan, WI. Civil ceremony at courthouse. Marriage certificate on file at courthouse. (marriage certificate lists her as “Worthy E. Webb)
Children: Frank Harvey, George Arthur (twin), Oran C. (twin), William Marcus
According to 1900 census, 5 children born, only 4 alive. Above children from Tuppers of America book.
Death: 5/1/1903 Sheboygan Co, WI. of chronic nephritis at 53 years, 341 days of age. Death notice in Sheboygan paper states “will probably be buried in Sheboygan Falls”; no cemetery listing can be located in county (not all indexed as of 2006). Note that her aunt Marietta Webb Tiffany died of same disease, Bright’s disease around same age.

Frank age 10 (census taker wrote mother again)

1870 WI Census: Fond du Lac Co, Auburn Township: (taken 6/1/1870) tenative
Marshal Tupper, age 24, married, Blacksmith, value of real estate $150, value of personal estate $52, born Ohio; Sarah wife, age 18, keeping house, born WI, Frank age 11/12, born July 1869 in WI. Wife’s name should be Wealthy, not Sarah, although age is correct (Wealthy’s mother’s name is Sarah). No Wealthy Webb or Tupper listed. Marshal has the correct age and place of birth, and was believed to be a blacksmith.

Notes: The date of birth for Wealthy on her death certificate and the 1900 census indicates she was born in 1849 . She was not yet listed in the 1850 census with her parents, and in each subsequent census, the stated age would coincide with being born in 1851. At the time of her marriage in 1868, she was listed as a minor needing parental consent, another indicator she was under age 18 (would have been age 17 in 1868, confirming birth in 1851).
Wealthy Webb (not sure if this was grandmother or grandaughter) was baptised at the Methodist church in Cascade 7/14/1866 by “sprinkling”. Many adults were baptised in those days if they had not when they were younger or moved into a new congregation.
