Parents: unknown
Marriage: Date unknown, circa 1826 to James Webb, probably in NY state.
Death: between 1875 and 1880. Believed to be buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mitchell township, Sheboygan WI. No tombstone present (decayed?), but husband and son buried there.

Biographical sketch in th “History of Steele & Waseca Counties”, Minnesota, pub 1887, indicates “Merritt Webb is a native of Jefferson Co, NY, Born March 21, 1829. His parents were James and Wealthy (Hutchinson) Webb, natives of Massachusetts. They removed to New York at an early age, and in 1849 settled in Sheboygan Co, WI.

1870 US census, WI, Town of Lyndon: James Sr. age 67, farmer, born Mass; Wealthy, age 67 born NY, keeping house, cannot read or write; James Jr. age 37, Invalid born NY.
Sarah Webb, James Jr’s wife is believed to be domestic servant on nearby farm.
1875 WI State census, Town of Lyndon: James Webb farm turned over to son-in-law H. Nelson Tiffany. Census indicates 1 male and 2 females; the Tiffany’s had no children, so Wealthy is likely living with them.
